EQInfo is a global earthquake information platform that offers comprehensive data about earthquakes around the world. With the ability to filter information by region, magnitude, and agency, it ensures that users can efficiently access the specific data they need. The platform also provides system notifications and enables easy social media sharing.

Developed by the expert team behind SeisComP3, a renowned software platform used by geophysical institutes worldwide for earthquake detection and location, EQInfo is a product of extensive knowledge and experience in the field. The seamless integration between EQInfo and Raspberry Shake personal seismograph brings users real-time earthquake announcements, complete with waveform snippets from their Raspberry Shake device. This integration allows access to the largest IoT citizen-scientist earthquake detection network in the world, providing reliable and accurate earthquake information that users can trust.

In addition to its wide range of features, EQInfo now empowers users to contribute their own insights through the submission of "Did you feel it" reports via their mobile devices. This citizen-scientist approach facilitates a better understanding of the impact earthquakes have on various communities.

EQInfo collaborates with multiple reputable agencies to ensure the most up-to-date and reliable earthquake information. Some of the agencies that contribute to EQInfo include Raspberry Shake Citizen-Scientist Network, GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), United States Geological Survey (USGS), Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG), Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), Spanish National Geographic Institute (IGN), National Observatory of Athens (NOA, Greece), Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute (KOERI, Turkey), GNS Science New Zealand, Bureau of Economic Geology, University of Texas at Austin (TexNet), Hessian State Office for Conservation, Environment and Geology (HLNUG), School and Observatory of Earth Sciences (EOST, France), Swiss Seismological Service (SED), National Center for Seismology, Ministry of Earth Sciences (NCS, India), and Seismology in Central Germany (SIM).

To optimize user experience, EQInfo allows defining a priority list for agencies, ensuring efficient aggregation of information. Additionally, the platform is designed to minimize data volume and update time. Push messages are employed when supported by the data provider.
